Site Tour: Lowell & 88th Water & Sanitation Realignment

The National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) of Colorado in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the North American Society for Trenchless technology (RMNASTT) is excited to invite you to a project site tour on October 17^th.  The project site tour will be held at the Lowell & 88^th Avenue Water & Sanitation Realignment Project being constructed for the City of Westminster utilizing guided pilot tube auger bore installation with the innovative GroundWorks shoring system and a deep shaft excavation with NTS Slide Rail shoring.       

This educational opportunity will offer a field visit with  that discusses why the trenchless methods chosen for this project are the most suitable for the City of Westminster.  Presenters of the presentation will cover:

1.      The Pilot Tube Method – BT Construction
2.      GroundWorks Shaft Support –  Ground Works
3.       SlideRail Shaft Support system – NTS

The agenda will be as follows:

11:00 to 11:15 – Safety Orientation and Introduction

11:00 to 12:00– Onsite Discussion

12:45 to 1:00 Lunch and Networking
