DOZER DAY 2026 - May 30, 2026 - Visit Our Main Page Here

What Is Dozer Day? Dozer Day® began as a one-day educational event and charity fundraiser put on every year in Vancouver, Washington, by the Nutter Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to improving the lives of children.

Dozer Day® is a family event where kids (lap age so that they can fit in the cab of a piece of equipment with an operator) get to experience the operation of heavy construction equipment
and machinery, learn about their community and careers in the design/build industry, and participate in fun family-focused events. Kids get to actually sit in the cab of heavy equipment and, with the careful assistance of professional operators, handle the controls and operate the machinery. At the signature event in Vancouver, Washington, over 20,000 people attend Dozer Day® each year, with a nearly even mix of boys and girls and many attending with one or both parents. The event logistics are carefully managed — the event is alcohol free, equipment operator volunteers are subject to a background check, and the event has been injury free.

Sponsors & Potential Partners

After HUGE successes across the country with other NUCA Chapters, NUCA Colorado is bringing DOZER DAYS to town on May 30, 2026!!!

Whether a first timer or a Dozer Day veteran, we are not wasting any time gearing up for  the big event and preparations are in full swing.  If you would like to consider sponsorship or haven't decided what level you’d like to be, please look at our attached sponsorship tiers to determine how you'd like to be involved.

Our sponsorship statistics reveal that NUCA Chapters have over a 95% sponsorship renewal rate among partners that host a booth at Dozer  Day. Between 2019- 2023, just one chapter has been able to interact with over 20,000 + guests! The statistics prove that being able to personally promote your business one-on-one while enjoying the smiles on the kids' faces provides the best  value. We encourage you to sponsor at one of the levels that allow you to join us at Ritchie Brother for an unforgettable weekend.

This event is a testament to the power of teamwork achieved through strong partnerships with individuals and local businesses who share our passion for helping the community!  Showing these kids how to operate heavy machinery helps them see what a career in construction could look like and promotes our mission of Workforce Development from the ground up!

Thank you very much for partnering with NUCA of Colorado to give the community a  fantastic day of family fun while also benefitting our local charity. With your help Dozer Day 2026  will be even better than 2025!
